Snow in St. Paul

Hi everyone! This past weekend I went to visit my best friend in St. Paul Minnesota. It was a super quick trip, but any time together is better than none at all! It was a balmy 30 degrees which was like spring for Minnesota and I got to see real snow for the first time in a couple of years!

    January Instagram Round-Up

Hi Everyone! Wow, it’s already February. Although I missed on a few of my goals in January, I still had a fantastic month overall. I rang in the new year with great friends and a wonderful guy at a really posh party. I continued to grow both personally and professionally, and overcame some huge obstacles. Guys, I got a puppy this month! She’s a handful, but an absolute joy to have around. She and Elie get along really well and the pups make me so happy! I also travelled to see a really old friend in a brand new city. I love seeing new places, and St. Paul was a really cool place with the best people.

    OMG I got a Puppy!

Hi everyone! Guess what? I adopted a puppy! I have always been a dog lover, but my first dog was Elie, who I adopted a year and a half ago. I don’t know why but something inside me kept saying I needed a puppy. When I got Elie she was already fully grown (although she still acted like a puppy until a few months ago). Over Christmas I was looking online at husky puppies and found Mia at the Texas Husky Rescue. She was born into the rescue, and is a certified mutt. Her mom, Charlotte was a husky, but we think she also has some Akita, Shepard, and border collie in her. She is adjusting very well, and is clearly photogenic!

    30 Day Challenge

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! I don’t know about you, but although I was dreading going back to work, I was definitely ready to get back into a routine. That includes a new workout routine. Now that I don’t have a marathon to train for I need a new challenge that will force me to be active and fit (aside from my dogs). I realized that my body was a bit unbalanced since I focused most of my marathon training on running and biking (with a little bit of tennis), I didn’t do much for my arms or abs. So my challenge was easy, find a couple arms and abs workouts that will be easy for me to work in and not hate to do. Naturally I turned to Pinterest and found some great 30 day challenges that I plan to implement. Day 1, check! By the way, this is NOT my New Year’s Resolution, I am fundamentally against them. If you want to do something, do it, if you want to change something, change it. No procrastinating, and no excuses!
